Working in Centers
As a school, being constructivist involves applying different and innovative teaching and learning techniques. Centers is now our Lomas Hill’s Kindergarten teaching methodologies and we are proud to share why. When students work in centers, they are able to develop different skills, which they are not, at the time, conscious about. They cooperate, learn from each other, share, take turns, manage time, choose to learn according to their interests, build, think, and communicate their thoughts and ideas amongst each other. I had the opportunity of offering a full training program for our three Kindergarten campuses, and would love to share some of my experience. “It seems easy for the teacher to imply such activities”, said one of the Interlomas’s Teachers.
